AI project idea filter

A small decision sheet for choosing which AI side-project, content asset, or website utility should be built next. It favors fast shipping, clear search intent, and low maintenance burden.

Score each idea from 0 to 2

  1. Clear user pain: can the page/tool answer one concrete question without a sales call?
  2. Search phrase exists: can the idea map to a phrase people actually type, such as supplier comparison checklist?
  3. Reusable output: can the visitor copy a template, follow a checklist, or make a decision?
  4. Low compliance risk: no fake claims, no scraped proprietary data, no risky regulated advice.
  5. Upgradeable: can later versions add examples, calculator fields, or case notes?

Build rule: ideas scoring 8–10 ship first; 5–7 become research notes; below 5 are parked until stronger evidence appears.

Example: supplier quote comparison

9 Clear buyer pain, long-tail search intent, copyable worksheet, low risk, easy to expand with fields.

Example: generic AI news article

3 Broad intent, short shelf life, weak utility, little reason for a visitor to return.
